These classes are the foundation of the Fitsom philosophy and practice. They allow you to develop patience, awareness and love for yourself. What exactly do we teach? Basically, self massage techniques that utilize an assortment of tools to help relieve pain, release muscle tension, diminish anxiety levels and increase range of motion. Combined with the power of breath, this practice is extremely beneficial to your physical and mental resilience, when done consistently. After an hour long class, it’s not uncommon to feel peaceful, empowered and just straight up good. We teach these techniques here at the studio in our Self Care Classes to put you in charge of your own body (and ultimately your life). Since no one can impact your life or fix your pain and discomfort better than you, we know these are invaluable skills to have.
